More on burgers

There are opportunities to add another ingredient or two if the burger meat is not the highest quality, like onion powder or hot spices. But please say no to Montreal steak seasoning on perfectly good burger meat (I had a bad experience)! Do the AI robots now making burgers know about these fundamentals? Learning from our mistakes

One definite good thing about ChatGPT is that it learns from its mistakes. It once gave me a convoluted answer to a question about an invoice last year, but it eventually corrected itself. I wrote about my experience in this post.

Connections between cleaning and mental health

This study suggests negative mental health impacts on Hispanic female domestic cleaners. But there are also mental health benefits of cleaning. That's one reason why this person cleans for free. Watch the clip.

Binge-watching

My family doesn't binge-watch a lot. But when we do, we do it with all our might. We saw all eight seasons of “Monk” in a few weeks during the pandemic. It just felt like the right thing to do with all the hand cleansers being used at the time.

Late last year, we started viewing as many seasons of “Top Chef” as possible. We stopped because we all got busy—with work, school, life. But I learned a lot about cooking. For example, it's ingrained in my core that quality meat for burgers only needs kosher salt and a few twists of the pepper mill to taste delicious. Add cheese and your preferred toppings, and enjoy.

But binge-watch with caution. No matter how good a show is, watching too much of it can be bad for your mental health, posing health risks such as behavioral addictions, sleep problems, depression, anxiety, and loneliness. And if scrolling through social media is your thing, studies show strong associations between a lot of time spent on social media and loneliness.

If you must binge-watch, consider adding nature to your viewing schedule.
